Tanya’s perspective on leadership wasn’t shaped by one career, one position, or one defining moment.
With 41 years of professional experience spanning corporate America, education, entrepreneurship, and nonprofit leadership, including 21 years as a middle school mathematics educator, Tanya has experienced leadership through many different lenses.
Throughout her career, she became intimately familiar with what it means to be depen dable, capable, and committed to getting the work done. She also recognized a challenge that many high-performing women encounter:
Being exceptional at carrying the work doesn’t automatically prepare you to lead at the next level.
Today, that insight is central to Tanya’s work. She helps emerging women leaders look beyond what they are accomplishing and examine how they are leading, how they are seen, and how they are positioning themselves for what’s next.

Tanya’s journey has taken her from corporate America to education, entrepreneurship, leadership coaching, nonprofit leadership, authorship, and professional speaking.
And at age 63, it took her to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The climb became more than a personal accomplishment. It reinforced lessons Tanya had experienced throughout her life about preparation, perseverance, perspective, and continuing forward when the destination still feels far away.
It also became a powerful reminder that growth and possibility aren’t confined by age, titles, timelines, or where you’ve already been.

Many talented women don’t lack ambition, intelligence, or work ethic. Sometimes, the opposite is true.
They’ve become so skilled at executing, solving, supporting, and carrying responsibility that those strengths begin defining how others see them and how they see themselves.
Tanya challenges women to examine the habits, assumptions, and perspectives shaping their leadership.
